Promo & Giveaway: Lisa J. Hobman!

Bridge Over the Atlantic!

Mallory Westerman is a full-figured, successful, young business woman living in Yorkshire, England. Though very career minded, she is extremely self-conscious about her ample curves and so her love life tends to pay the price. Concentrating solely on her business, she has almost given up on finding someone to love. That is until she literally trips into the arms of a stranger who becomes her Knight in shining armour. The immediate sexual and romantic spark that blossoms into love and the events that follow, irrevocably change Mallory’s life-path and self-image forever, but only go to prove that the road to true love is never smooth and that things don’t always turn out how you expect…

Through the Glass!

A broken heart can never be a blank canvas…

You meet someone, fall in love, and live happily ever after…right?

That’s what Jim MacDuff thought, but after years of being blissfully happy, everything he holds dear comes crashing spectacularly down thanks to his interfering mother-in-law. Felicity “Flick” Johnston-Hart is passionate about painting what she sees through the glass. Just like the subjects of her paintings, she’s viewed her life as an observer instead of really living. Although she adores her first love, Jim, more than life, her mother’s expectations eventually chip away at her, making her believe that painting and Jim are simply not enough.

After settling back into life as a single man in the stunning Scottish Highlands, Jim is graced with an unexpected and unwanted visitor bringing painful news that he would rather not hear. A letter from beyond the grave leads him to do something he never imagined and takes him on a journey to try to help Flick rekindle her passion for painting…and maybe win her love again in the process.

Can Jim and Flick make things right before it’s too late, or will events leave them heartbroken and alone forever?

The Girl Before Eve!

Unrequited love is the biggest heartache…

Lily and Adam have been best friends since the dawn of time. Well, the dawn of their time. Okay…since primary school actually. Everyone accepted them as best friends. Until one day, aged 18, Lily made a fateful discovery. She was head over heels in love.
With Adam.
Her unrequited feelings are hard to deal with initially but become even harder when Lily inadvertently introduces him to the love of his life. It all started as a bit of a joke thanks to the other woman's name.

Eve.
Many years later and Adam is once again single and heartbroken and Lily is there to help him pick up the pieces. Her methods are sometimes a little unorthodox and lead to ridiculous consequences.

Can Lily help Adam move on and find happiness again? And can either of the friends recover from losing the love of their lives?

Sometimes the one thing you want is way out of reach.

Author bio:

Lisa J Hobman's debut novel Bridge Over the Atlantic was recently shortlisted in the Romantic Novelists Association's Romance Novel of the Year 2014 (The RoNAs) - Contemporary Romance Category.

These books are for ages 17+ due to mature content.

Lisa is happily married to her soul-mate, is mum to one and has two crazy dogs. She especially enjoys being creative and now writes full time.

In 2012 Lisa and her family relocated from England to their beloved Scotland; a place of happy holidays and memories for them. Her new location now features in all of her books. Writing has always been something Lisa has enjoyed, although in the past it has centered on poetry and song lyrics. Some of which appear in her stories.

The story in her debut novel, Bridge Over the Atlantic, was building in her mind for a long while but until the relocation, she never had the time to put it down in black and white. With three books currently released and a fourth to be published in August 2014 the move north of the border has certainly given Lisa the opportunity to pursue her dream. Being signed to 5 Prince Publishing has made that dream a reality.
